Even Ducks need an ethical guideline.
Why you may ask?  

Well, we all get caught up in our ideas of what is morally right and how we execute it on a daily basis.

As a team however, we want to make sure that we are all on the same page and that every one of us can have a say in how we shape our golden rules of ethicality.

We strive to practice what we believe in and try to make a positive impact on our planet, in our community and especially in our duck pond!

Being an ethical business is a constant challenge. There is no ready-made solution nor is there a to-do list that needs to be checked off, but more a constant work in progress.

We live in a capitalist world and as such, we navigate in a minefield of ethical conundrums.  

That is why we need to stay critical of ourselves, check in with each other to stay on track with our vision and to constantly educate ourselves on current relevant topics.

From our processes, to our relationships we attempt to examine every aspect internally and externally of the studio.

All of that with the close watch of our detail-orientated animation team – after all we do animation, we know the art of detail!

  • We promote and showcase new artists, raising awareness of emerging and underused talent.
  • We dedicate 5% of our annual profits to providing low and pro-bono work to non-profit organisations and charities.
  • We have frequent internal training to educate our team on current topics close to our hearts.
  • We offer work experience to members of disadvantaged communities, paying special attention to young people at risk and those within the neurodiversity spectrum.

  • We create the world we want to live in, by finding more sustainable ways of working and living.
  • Our goal is to become net zero by reducing consumption and waste, then offsetting any environmental impacts we can’t avoid.
